IBM European Innovation Manager
Didier as a dynamic leader drives Innovation in Europe, in close relationship with the IBM CIO Lab. His scope covers all aspects of innovation from the idea generation to the pilot implementation, nurturing breakthrough with collaboration and social networks. He simultaneously conducts several initiatives and ensures consistency with worldwide strategies and internal functions/divisions which are impacted by incoming changes. The core challenge is to involve as many IBMers as possible and get their thoughts pushed forward to the appropriate Business Units.
Key goals: productivity, integration and sales enablement. Now adding global crowdfunding inside IBM, leveraging the intelligence and decisions of 1,000’s of employees to invest in best projects.
Specialties: Global strategy, roadmap execution, relationship with Trading Partners and start-ups, innovation and collaboration, new technology validation, crowdfunding.
In parallel, he leads ESSEC Alumni Business Angels as co-president in partnership with Paris Business Angels (PBA).
During his career, Didier has directed the IBM Global Business Integration (Business-to-Business Process Transformation), in charge of e-business integration with Web forms, Excel upload, EDI, B2B, XML, Ariba/RosettaNet and Web Services for customers and business partners worldwide. He has previously held various management positions in the sales support area.
He graduated from an International Business School: ESSEC (École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales) specializing in IT and Finance.
